You can now track our herd of Belted Galloways

Our Belted Galloways are now back on Cleeve Common after their TB tests were all negative. They are now in a large winter paddock in the northern part of the Common in the Postlip area. The paddock is here to keep their grazing targeted to areas which most need it to improve the quality of the grassland. Thanks to their GPS collars you can now see where they are at any time by going to https://grazingmap.nofence.no/

This will be great for anyone that likes to go and say hello to the boys, or for anyone that would prefer to avoid them!

Note that it will only show pastures within 20km of your position, and you may need to zoom out to locate Cleeve Common.

You will also see that the system is in use on other conservation sites such as Leckhampton Hill, Crickley Hill and Cranham Common, helping to keep Cotswold limestone grasslands in good condition. Our cattle are very placid but if you do go and say hello, please keep a respectful distance and please don’t feed them.
