We will start with withn a breif introduction to how we keep our woodlands in the best condition we can for a variety of wildlife. We will then do some practical management in the form of coppicing and thinning which gives larger trees more room to thrive and allows more light down to the woodland floor which benefits ground flora, invertebrates and birds.
